  • Getting hold of all that info must have taken ages.

Any plans on adding Hard Mode differences in other games?

    • Text in the table is almost impossible to read over a white background. I've also stumbled with this problem in the past, and even if you set the table's background color to "transparent", you always end up with a white one.

It seems colors are governed by one of the MediaWiki.css pages (most likely Wikia.css), although I've unsuccessfully tried to modify it several times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, there's something funny about it: when the table is collapsed, it reads "hide", but when it's expanded, it reads "show".

Yeah, it's been ages since I've done proper editing on wikia, so for the most part I just copied code from different pages and hoped for the best.

I couldn't figure out how to change the background color - if it even can be done in the first place - but I figured an easier fix would be to just change the text color to something more readable over the light background. The text in the box should now be fully readable. Still can't figure out the "hide" and "show" buttons being reversed; the template I copied it from had it correctly. I'll have to look further into that, but otherwise the table should be working as intended.

Yeah, I just kinda started up Portrait's hard mode out of curiosity and didn't even realize just how far the changes went until I reached Dullahan. Then I realized that none of these changes seemed to be documented, so I just wrote them all down in a notepad file as I went.

I'm definitely down for recording the Order of Ecclesia differences, since it's been years since my last full run through that game and to my memory the changes are even more extensive than Portrait's. The other two games to take care of would be Lament of Innocence and Dracula's Curse. Lament will be a little harder to take care of since its main difference is in enemy placements (i.e. enemies from the final level show up in pretty much every stage now) - although, for what it's worth, most of the enemy placement changes seem to be logged in LoI's enemy data already. Dracula's Curse will be harder because, from the four stages I've played thus far, the game's hard mode is just that hard (and I've never beaten the normal mode to begin with), although I'm looking forward to seeing just how much they changed it when I actually do manage a playthrough. I'm aiming for getting all of those differences recorded eventually, though.
