Moonwalkers are boots that enhance the ability to dash backward. They first appeared in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.

In Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, the Moonwalkers can be replaced with the Feather Boots (found in Chapter 10), which enhance back-dashing even more.

  • The name "Moonwalkers" is a reference to a dance move called the moonwalk, in which the dancer moves backward while appearing to walk forward, and which was popularized by singer and entertainer Michael Jackson in the 1980s. This reference is further reinforced as they allow the wearer to dash backward a larger distance.
