Naoya Uchida (内田 直哉 Uchida Naoya?) is a Japanese actor and voice actor from Tokyo, Japan. He is currently affiliated with Osawa Office. He has played several minor roles of authority in various television dramas. He debuted in 1972 in the NHK program Maboroshi no Satsui and continued acting in theater and television dramas until the late 1990s. Since then, he has refocused his career on vocal performances such as opera and dubbing. He is best known for his roles as Tatsuya Midorikawa/DenjiGreen in Denshi Sentai Denjiman, Madara Uchiha in Naruto, and Askeladd in Vinland Saga. He is also known for being the general Japanese dubbing actor for Bruce Willis and Woody Harrelson.

He voices Dracula in the Japanese version of the Castlevania animated series.


At the age of 15, Naoya Uchida joined Gekidan Wakakusa and made his debut in 1972 with Phantom Killing. After dropping out of college, he joined Wakakoma Pro. In the 1970s, he formed the unit "Four in One" with Akira Kamiya, Ryusei Nakao, Ryoichi Fukuzawa and others.

In 1980, he played Tatsuya Midorikawa/DenjiGreen in Denshi Sentai Denjiman. He became interested in musicals after appearing in the musical of the theater company Baraza, and in 1982 he studied under Tsunemi Naito and started focusing more on musicals. He has participated in numerous stage plays, such as Peter Pan, My Fair Lady and Duet, and in 1987 he played the role of Enjolras in Les Misérables with an audience of nearly 50,000 people.

From around 1996, he started working in voice acting. He has played a wide range of roles, from serious to comedy, from good to bad. He is often in charge of dubbing foreign dramas and films, although he's also active in anime and narration. In the Getter Robo OVA, he plays the role of pilot Hayato Jin. He is usually in charge of dubbing Bruce Willis, Woody Harrelson, Andy Garcia, Paul McCrane, David Morse, Kenneth Branagh, and others.

He left Remax in January of 2010 and is currently working at Osawa Office.

His wife is Misao Arauchi, Japan's 2001 Miss Universe representative.
