The Nova Skeleton, also known as Beam Skeleton, is an enemy in the Castlevania series. It is a green skeleton with three red eyes that can shoot laser beams.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night[]
This enemy can be found in the Reverse Outer Wall. It's the only enemy with the Terminus Est as an item drop. It can shoot a Hit-elemental beam which is the strongest enemy attack in the game (even stronger than Dracula's attack). This enemy is relatively fragile with its 36 level, such that they can be used to reach Level 36 quickly.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia[]
Appearing in Dracula's Castle, this enemy drops the highly useful Nitesco glyph, a magical attack with Flame and Light attributes. It uses this attack on the Normal difficulty setting, making it easy to avoid by crouching. However, the Nova Skeleton uses Union Nitesco on harder difficulty settings, which can only be avoided by standing behind or on a different level to the skeleton.
