Piercing Silence (also known as Ripped Silence) is a music theme originally composed by Michiru Yamane for Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. It is the second boss battle theme. It plays when fighting against Dullahan, Mummy Man, The Creature, Medusa, Werewolf and Death. It features rapid-pace percussion beats, strings, as well as ominous vocalizations.
Arrangements later appeared in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and the fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
