The PlayStation Portable (often shortened to PSP) is a handheld game console developed by Sony with the control and buttons similar to the PlayStation consoles. Its GPU is capable of high-end graphics, and has multi-media capabilities like playing videos, music or viewing images. It can also connect through the Internet, the PlayStation 3, and other PSP systems as well through its Wi-Fi and Ad-Hoc features. The Universal Media Disc or simply UMD, serves as the main storage medium for loading games and other multi-media. Moreover, a Memory Card (officially termed Memory Stick in the manuals) can also serve as a storage device for games, media and more importantly, the saved files for each game.
