Not to be confused with A Requiem, Castlevania Requiem, or Requiem for the Nameless Victims.

Requiem is a song composed by Sanoppi for Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. It is the background music played during the main menu at the beginning of the game.

It was later used for the title screen in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

Trivia

  • The song sounds remarkably similar to the well-known prayer of Christian liturgy "Kyrie Eleison" (translit. Kýrie Eléēson). This phrase is chanted repeatedly in the lyrics and translate from Ancient Greek to "Lord, have mercy".
