Resist Fire is an Attribute Potion in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that temporarily halves damage from attacks with the Fire attribute. The effect lasts about 68 seconds.
The item is called Fire Essence in Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night and raises one's Fire affinity, although it doesn't help unlock Fire spells.
