Resist Holy is an Attribute Potion in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that temporarily halves damage from attacks with the Holy attribute. The effect lasts about 68 seconds. Only two copies of it are available in the whole game, one in the Castle Keep and another in the Black Marble Gallery, and no enemies drop them. Since the only enemies with Holy attacks are Richter Belmont, Maria Renard (in the Saturn and DXC versions), Fake Sypha, and the Doppelgangers (due to their sub-weapons), it's best to use them against these bosses or keep them in case the player wants a complete inventory.
The item is called Holy Essence in Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night and raises one's Holy affinity, although it doesn't help unlock Holy spells.
