Resist Thunder is an Attribute Potion in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that causes Thunder-based attacks to actually heal Alucard.
The item is called Thunder Essence in Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night and raises one's lightning affinity, although it doesn't help unlock Lightning spells.
In Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, this ability is obtained with a Bugbear's soul.
