The Reverse Caverns (mispelled "Reverce Caverns" in the game) is an upside down version of the Underground Caverns in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Crimson and purple tones show up in the architecture and rocky surroundings. It is also called the groundwater vein.
Description[]
Despite being upside-down, water is still present within the caverns.
The Reverse Caverns can be entered below from the Black Marble Gallery or from an underground hall in the Reverse Entrance. One higher up room deep above the ground leads to the Cave above.

Trivia[]
- A glitch can cause an upside-down wooden bridge to appear, blocking access to the Cave. This appears to be the Reverse variant of the removable wooden bridge used to block the Abandoned Pit to the Catacomb, the former of which goes unused along with its Reverse switch.
- An odd loading zone is placed to the left of the upside-down "false save room". If this loading zone is reached (via out of bounds glitching), Alucard will be warped to a normal CD hall. Exiting to the right of the hall will lead to the normal Outer Wall, but with the game partially thinking it is still the Reverse Castle: the Reverse music will play, and the reverse map is still shown, with Alucard's map position being a couple of out-of-bounds spaces near the Reverse Entrance (with some areas overlapping normally marked areas). Saving the game will display a glitched file name. Entering a different area or the Warp Room will correctly load the proper Reverse room and accurately correct the map positioning.
- It is possible this out-of-bounds loading zone is either a placeholder or a glitch due to the Nightmare not appearing within the Reverse Castle but still re-using data from the normal variant of the false save room.
