The Reverse Entrance is a location in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Overview[]
An upside down version of the Entrance. Nothing much has changed in here, save for a slight shift in the color tone, making everything a little crimson. It is notable that the enemies in this castle are far more powerful and dangerous than their regular castle counterparts.

Trivia[]
- An unused secret chamber exists at the reverse entrance grounds. This chamber appears to be the reverse variant of the unused Sega Saturn chamber seen in the normal Entrance grounds. Like the normal variant, it is a small shaft leading to a Save Room, the Save Room bearing glitched graphics similarly seen with its normal counterpart. It is possible to enter the reverse variant using cheat codes, where it appears similar to its normal counterpart with small differences:
- The shaft has a darker color tone matching the rest of the Reverse Entrance. There is also no water present within the shaft. Oddly, the reverse variant has a red transitional door in front of the save. It is possible this may be a leftover from the Sega Saturn version. Unlike the normal version, the trap door will not open if the player steps on top of it from above it (from the shaft side), requiring cheats to escape the room.
- Using cheat codes, it is also possible to enter an out-of-bounds area outside the castle gate, which appears to be the Reverse version of the outside forest from the beginning of the game. This area seems to be somewhat incomplete with some graphics missing and a barrier in front of the reverse entrance gate. The room appears on the map as a white square (hidden marked room) 16 squared directly below the reverse Entrance grounds' alcove. Returning to the gate's Entrance oddly has the player enter the reverse Entrance grounds from directly below the aforementioned alcove out-of-bounds.
