The Rose Brooch is a key item in Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. It is a special brooch needed during Cornell's story to get to the top of the fountain located in the Villa's courtyard. It can be found in the hedge maze garden, which requires the Thorn Key to get inside. Getting to the top of the fountain rewards the player with the Crest Half A, which is required in order to exit the stage.
Reinhardt and Carrie can neither find the Rose Brooch during their respective adventures, nor do they need it, since the platform to reach the top of the fountain rises by itself at certain times of the day instead.
