The Salamander Card is a DSS Attribute Card in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. When combined with other cards it will produce fire effects, such as a flame whip, a fire sword, or a fire-spitting bat familiar. When combined with the Uranus card, the Salamander itself will be summoned. Flaming meteors will rain down as the giant lizard rolls down the screen, doing a large amount of damage (160 MP).

It should be noted that this is the only time in the series where the Salamander is portrayed as a lizard-like creature and not the serpent-like dragon which appears in the rest of the games.

Effect: Each swing of the whip produces a fireball that travels at Nathan's dash speed. It has 400 base power and is not affected by any of Nathan's stats.

Effect: Throws an arcing bomb that explodes on contact.
Neptune + Salamander (Fire Healing) - Circle of the Moon [edit]
Fire attacks heal character while reducing MP. DSS Effect

Effect: Fire attacks, such as the Skeleton Bomber's explosions, heal Nathan while reducing his MP. In general, attacks that make Nathan glow red and appear to be on fire while they knock him back have the Fire element.
Saturn + Salamander (Bat Familiar) - Circle of the Moon [edit]
A bat familiar appears to attack in tandem. DSS Effect

Effect: Summons a bat that shoots fireballs when the attack button is held.
