The Scout Armor (called Walk Armor in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night), is body armor that grants a higher Defense depending on how much of the map has been covered (A Defense Exploration Boost).

The Walk Armor has the potential to reach the highest defense stats in the game.

Castlevania: Portrait of RuinEdit

The Scout Armor starts out at +5 Defense, but this can increase to up to 44 as more of the map is covered. Even at its highest, it's still not as strong as the Heavy Armor that Jonathan can wear (DEF 55, STR 5, MND 40, but which also slows down its wearer). It is obtained as a reward for completing Boss Rush 3 in under 5 minutes.
