The Silver Ring is an accessory found in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It has no other function than to grant access to the Castle Center when it is equipped in conjunction with the Gold Ring while Alucard is in the clock room located in the Marble Gallery (where he first met Maria Renard). Its inscription reads "...in...Tower", and the one on the Gold Ring reads "Wear...Clock..."; these are hints to wear both rings in the clock room and complete the whole phrase:

"Wear in Clock Tower"

The reference to "Tower" in the Silver Ring's inscription is a translation error, which was rectified in The Dracula X Chronicles version of the game, where it reads "...in...Room" instead. The previous translation was misleading since the Clock Tower is another location entirely.

The Silver Ring also appears in the Tiger Electronics handheld version of Symphony of the Night. It is given as a reward for beating the Hipogryph[sic] (Gaibon) and enables the player to reach the next stage.
