Skeleton Rib, also known as Slinger, is an enemy in the Castlevania series. It is a skeleton that attacks by throwing its own ribs straight forward, rather than the usual arc for most skeletons. Due to local censorship, the Skeleton Rib was replaced with a Shield Throwing Sword Soldier in the Chinese mobile game Castlevania: Moonlight Rhapsody, which otherwise behaves the same.
Description[]
The Skeleton Ribs are depicted as a skeleton wearing a viking helmet and carrying a shield (although the latter doesn't seem to provide them any kind of protection). They are specialized bone-throwing skeletons. They wear a Viking Helmet and throw their own ribs in a low arc, usually three in a row. They tend to throw their rib bones at a faster, more consistent pace than normal bone-throwing skeletons.
