The Skull Spider is an enemy in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. It is a monstrous spider with a skull-shaped body.
Description[]
A monstrous spider with a skull-shaped body that can climb and crawl on any surface it comes across with, either ground, wall or ceiling. Making contact with it will poison the player. Being a skeletal monster, it is susceptible to Strike-type attacks, so equipping a Macir glyph when fighting them would be a good idea.
It drops the Fidelis Aranea glyph, which summons a Skull Spider to fight alongside Shanoa, poisoning any enemies it comes in contact with unless they are resistant to this status effect.
In Castlevania Judgment, the Skull Spider is instead an arms accessory that can be equipped to customize the appearance of a character.
