Steel Armor (sometimes called Steel Cuirass or Steel Plate) is body armor made of steel. It is often stronger than the Iron Armor and the strongest "normal" metal armor, but less powerful than the weakest "precious metal" armor, Silver Armor.

In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the Steel Cuirass grants a Defense boost of +5, which is one more than an Iron Cuirass and one less than a Silver Plate.

The Steel Plate in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow gives DEF +31, which is more than an Iron Plate (+25) and less than the Silver Plate +35.
