Circle of the Moon - Tackle - 03.png

Tackle (also called Dash Attack and Blade Attack) is a special move that allows the player to charge forward and damage enemies while taking to harm in return.

It is available to Richter Belmont in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. It is performed by entering a special key sequence that changes between games. Richter races forward (defying gravity if in the air) and damages any enemy he passes through while taking no damage for coming in contact them.

Nathan Graves can perform a rolling tackle in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon after obtaining the "Tackle" magic item, which allows him to destroy certain stone blocks within the castle to access new areas.
