The Tear of Blood is a blood-red jewel that gives a large Defense boost and token boosts to all other combat-related statistics. In Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, it provides +6 DEF and +1 ATK, STR, CON and INT. In Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, it provides a +8 DEF boost and retains its +1 for the other statistics.
