The Thunder Whip is a whip with an added Thunder element.
In Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, the Whip of Lightning is obtained after defeating the Thunder Elemental optional miniboss in the Garden Forgotten by Time. It adds the Thunder element to the Whip of Alchemy. Like an Orb after defeating a main area boss, picking up the whip restores all of the player's HP.
It can be obtained by defeating the Thunder Elemental while exploring the Garden Forgotten by Time and imbues the Whip of Alchemy with the element of Thunder in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
Other lightning based whips that appear in Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls include the Bladed Whip, Falcon Whip, Shock Whip, Giant Killer, Volt Viper, and Raijin, each boasting a separate lightning based special attack.
