The Traveler's Hat (also called the Wizard Hat in the North American version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or Wide Brim Hat in Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls) is a wide-brimmed hat with a feather made for travelers. It is the most valuable hat in Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Despair that male characters can wear (though female characters can also wear it).

• While the handsome dhampir referenced in Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls could be Alucard, who wore the Wizard Hat in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it could also be D from the Vampire Hunter D novel series, who was famous for wearing a wide brimmed hat.
• The design of the Traveler's Hat in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair bears a strong resemblance to the hat which the character Snufkin from the Moomin series.
