True Story Mode is an alternate mode in Castlevania Judgment. It is only unlocked when the player beats the whole normal Story Mode with every character, excluding Aeon. The differences are a new character selection screen, which now features the Time Reaper, a second battle against Aeon in the Clock Tower, and a final boss battle against the Time Reaper in the Dimensional Rift.

Completing this mode for the first time unlocks that character's respective artwork and theme song in the gallery. Beating this mode in Brutal Mode will unlock that respective character's Mask of the Time Reaper.

Epilogues[]

Warriors of the Light[]

Simon Belmont[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Six years later, a mysterious woman would tell Simon Belmont of a curse placed upon him.

To free himself from that curse, he would have to collect Dracula’s remains—his nail, heart, rib bone, eyeball, and ring—and burn them all at the ruins of Castlevania.

And with that, Simon set off on a new quest…

Maria Renard[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

The next year, Maria set out in search of the missing Richter Belmont. A year into her quest, Castlevania suddenly reappeared, five years after its destruction.

Inside, Maria met Alucard once again, and finally found Richter.

But Richter had become a completely different man, having named himself the lord of Castlevania…

Trevor Belmont[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Trevor Belmont pursued Dracula's minions to a dark sorceror said to be at least as powerful as Death himself.

The ensuing confrontation between Trevor and two opposing Devil Forgemasters would revive Castlevania once again...

Sypha Belnades[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Sypha Belnades returned to battle as a hunter for the Church.

Years later, a powerful vampire appeared calling himself Dracula. The Church wasted no time in arranging a hunting party.

Sypha would travel to a land well known for its fear of witches. Only a few months earlier, a young woman had been killed there on suspicion of witchcraft.

To protect herself, Sypha decided she would enter the battle in disguise, as a man...

Eric Lecarde[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Many years later, Eric's true love would be turned into a vampire by Dracula's niece, Elizabeth Bartley.

Rudely awakened to his destiny, Eric joined John Morris to help unleash the power sealed in the mighty Vampire Killer whip.

Together, they succeeded in destroying both Countess Bartley and Dracula.

But soon that triumph would be tainted when Eric learned of the terrible price that came with the full power of the whip...

Shanoa[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Shanoa continued to hunt for Albus, the traitor who stole the Order's most powerful Glyph: Dominus.

His behavior was baffling--using Dominus to imprison villagers, then suddenly emerging and allowing Shanoa to absorb a portion of the stolen Glyph...

What was Albus's true agenda? What power dwelled within Dominus?
Serving the cruel whims of fate, Shanoa would ultimately discover the shocking truth...

Grant Danasty[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Grant once again threw himself body and soul into the revival of the ruined towns.

The scars Dracula had left on his land ran so deep, Grant would devote his entire life to healing them.

In time, Grant would no longer be known as a vampire hunter, but instead be remembered as the hero who rebuilt Wallachia.

Warriors of the Night[]

Alucard[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Alucard continued to search for a way to destroy Dracula once and for all. When a prophecy foretold the arrival of a great lord of darkness in 1999, Alucard began preparations.

Then prophecy became reality. Using a solar eclipse, Alucard succeeded in breaking Dracula’s endless cycle of resurrection.

But then came a new prophecy… “In 2035, during a solar eclipse, a castle will arise in Japan…

So Alucard infiltrated a top-secret Japanese government agency, and resumed his vigil…

Cornell[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Cornell could once again control his power and return to human form. However, having come no closer to finding a true cure, he headed home in despair.

He returned to find his village in flames and his sister Ada -- his only kin -- abducted.

And so Cornell set out to save her, and a new battle began...

Carmilla[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Carmilla would go on to be slain by many different hunters, only to rise time and again alongside her lord Dracula.

Even as she endured this perpetual torment, her loyalty and devotion to Dracula never faltered.

Perhaps her beauty was more than skin deep after all...

Golem[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

As Aeon had warned, Golem's newfound self-awareness could not persist outside that special dimension.

After his return, he was destroyed by some unknown hunter, still oblivious to all he had experienced in the rift.

He was created to oppose man, but for a brief moment his soul awakened.

Had he the words, he would only have wanted to express the joy of thinking and acting for oneself... the joy of being alive.

Death[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Death, unconstrained by mortality, pursued every possible means of reviving his master.

He sowed the seeds of evil by weakening the faith of man.

Why would such a being serve Dracula so loyally?

Perhaps there is some greater force at play behind it all...

Dracula[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

A man who lost his heart and soul in his hatred of God...

A man who lost his heart and soul in his hatred of humanity...

His spirit is reborn in our world time and time again, not by his own will, but in answer to man's wicked call.

It is no outside force that threatens to destroy the world. It is humanity itself that would be its own undoing.

It is every thought, every action great and small, that brings the world closer to salvation or ruin.

Aeon[]

Thus the rift in time was mended, and all were returned to their respective eras.

Of course, Aeon had no era of his own to return to.

Even now, he wanders time eternal, observing all that occurs. It is the only way to satisfy his infinite curiosity.

Whenever the fabric of time is disturbed, he -- or rather, someone he enlists -- will arrive to repair it.

And Aeon's role will remain forever shrouded in mystery...
