Strategy
It's recommended to bring the Holy Water sub-weapon to this fight, as it deals continuous damage in a confined area and all the enemies that conform this boss battle are weak to it. The player must first destroy the four eyes located on each corner of the room while also trying to avoid contact with the giant worm-like creature. Several holes along the walls of the room will serve as passageways for the worm, and this can damage the player simply by making physical contact with them as it moves around, or by breathing fire in an arc. The creature is completely impervious to attack, so concentrating on destroying the four eyes should be given priority instead.
After the four eyes have been destroyed, a core will appear at the center of the room (along with the boss's HP bar); likewise, the player should attack it with Holy Water as much as possible before it disappears and randomly reappears at one of the four holes left by the eyes. In addition to the worm, hordes of Soulless enemies will continuously spawn from the ground. While they can immediately attack the player by the time they appear, they also have little health and can be disposed off with ease, serving more as a distraction throughout the whole ordeal.
Once the core has run out of health, all enemies in the room, including the worm, will be destroyed. The Blue Orb and a portal to Rinaldo's shop will then appear.

- After defeating a boss, the room where they were fought will retain the same look. However, if the player returns to the Undead Parasite's room, it will completely revert back to normal, resembling most of the other rooms in the stage.
