Varney is a character in the Castlevania animated series.

Calling himself the vampire from London, he was a member of Dracula's Army. He was on a mission to offer Targoviste to Dracula but failed. He knows seeks to resurrect his master. Upon finalizing his plan by manipulating Saint Germain, he reveals his true form: Death.

He was voiced by Malcolm McDowell in the English version of the show.

• This character is probably a reference to Sir Francis Varney from the book Varney the Vampire.
• Varney's appearance in the Season 4 trailer calls to mind earlier designs for Dracula, as seen in games released before Symphony of the Night and in Portrait of Ruin.
• Varney shares the same voice actor as Death, as they are the same character.
• As Death in disguise trying to resurrect Dracula, Varney shares some similarities with Zead.
