- For the Lords of Shadow location, see Veros Woods (Lords of Shadow).
The Veros Woods (ベロスの森 Berosu no Mori?, lit. "Belos Forest") is a location in Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. It is the second forested area normally found in the game. It is located just beyond the South Bridge when approaching from the town of Jova. The path eventually forks. The lower fork leads to the town of Veros.
Berkeley Mansion, the first mansion encountered in the game, is encountered early in the upper fork. The Veros Woods continues past this mansion and then leads to Denis Woods. The marsh depicted in this stage may be an extension of the Denis Marsh.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse[]
The swampy forest area of Block 4 of Dracula's Curse may have been inspired by the Veros Woods, along with the Denis Marsh and Denis Woods.
Worlds of Power 4 - Castlevania II: Simon's Quest[]
The Veros Woods is located in the vicinity of Berkeley Mansion in the non-canon licensed Worlds of Power novelization of Simon's Quest. Freddie Monster indicated that he prefers these two locales more than his home dimension.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow[]
- Main article: Veros Woods (Lords of Shadow)
Gabriel Belmont traverses the snow covered Veros Woods in this alternate continuity game. Here, he meets the Chupacabra. Its proximity to Wygol Village, suggests that in this timeline, Wygol Village is analogous to the town of Veros or Jova.
