Both enemies are very resilient and several strikes may be necessary to put them down. Ranged attacks that inflict multiple hits (such as the Crucifix) are recommended.
Another thing to keep in mind while fighting these enemies, is that since they knock the player backward, they may end up being sent out of the room, thus forcing the player to start the battle all over again.
The Were-Bear is a type of werebeast that takes the form of an anthropomorphic brown bear; as such it is covered in fluffy brown fur. It slowly walks forward and once it reaches a certain distance from the player, it swipes forward with its powerful paw, inflicting considerable damage and sending the hero flying backward.
The Grizzly is a higher-ranking type with much higher stats, and it has blue fur instead of brown. They start appearing once Death has been defeated and are generally found in the company of Alraunes. This combination can be dangerous, as an Alraune's web could trap the player and hold them in place, leaving them at the Grizzly's mercy.
