The Woodland Shield is a wood shield found only in the Sega Saturn version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It grants a DEF bonus of 3 and can summon vines to attack enemies with its Shield Rod spell. Oddly enough, the Woodland Shield is missing from the circle of shields in the spell animation of the Alucard Shield.
